Satya`s Media Dummy Maker creates a dummy of your removable media so that you can browse your media content information without inserting the media.

Pros: We all have many CDs, DVDs containing software collections, mp3 collections, picture files, documents and various other file collections. Most often one does not maintain an index of the contents on the media jewel box or anywhere else. So when the time comes to search for a piece it is very difficult to locate. The painful process is to insert the media on the CD drive and read through the directories to locate what you need. That’s going to be very irritating a process, quite often error prone and you are likely to miss what you have been looking for. What this package does is create a dummy index, directory of the media content. So that when you need a specific content one would look through this catalog and locate the item to a specific media disk. Obviously the search feature could be used to locate the item too.

Cons: While it has the dummy maker interface, there is nothing to initiate a search. Apparently you go through the file location process. There is no help or instructions available to find your way around.
