This application is a movies database for Widows media player. It has a built in web browser and wizards to get information automatically. Search is a powerful feature on this package. The high contrast screens looks good on the TV or a projector.

Pros: CineCenter is movie collection database for the Windows media player in a Home theater PC (HTPC). Typically a HTPC has a display device that is suitable as a home theater. A large screen monitor or a TV as the output device makes the set up suitable for viewing digital photo, music, video player, TV receiver and digital video recorder. Quite often these devices are also called a media center.

Once found, one has a choice to play the relevant trailer whenever one is available or directly play the movie. While the primary player is the windows media player, CineCenter can also launch a default player depending on the video file type. Creating a favorite list and recalling movies from the same also is available.

User interface is designed to suit the TV environment, it is easy to use and learn.

Cons: Integration of management of recording of programs from the TV would have been added value.
