The RCL Music Ministry program was inspired by First Baptist Church of Oneida, Oneida, Tennessee. This program was designed with the guidance of Pastor Brian Elliott, Minister of Music, at First Baptist of Oneida and Pastor Neal Johnson, Minister of Music, Nansemond River Baptist Church. A church can use this program to maintain all of the churches music, performance history and copyright obligations. In addition all choir members contact information and participation can be maintained. Lastly an inventory of the instruments and equipment can be maintained along with a detailed history of repair and maintenance. Some of the data for each song is: title, artist, composer, arranger, orchestra parts, custom alphanumeric library number, and the copyright administrator. Enter any number of themes into a search list for later access. Enter lyrics for each song and print them at any time, including exporting to Microsoft Word©. Maintain the churches music library. Enter the type of storage medium, custom library number, title, arranger, composer, publisher, cost, when purchased, list orchestra parts, and more! In addition to the basic information of name and address the following can be saved, is the person a vocalist, soloist, what voice part, do they play an instrument, if so what instrument. Personal data like birthday, and attendance. Enter all the ensembles the person belongs and their level of stewardship. See at a glance the performance history of a soloist. Plan for each service a worship order. Show the song title, collection source, ensemble, soloist, date, service and copyright information. The worship order is defined first by the scheduled performance date. It can be further defined by ensemble. When the performance is complete click on the Update button to create or increment the history of each song title, collection, ensemble and soloist. Enter the path for a song and play it by clicking a button.

RCL Music Ministry 7.0 has been designed to facilitate churches in effortlessly keeping appropriate records of their music, copyright obligations along with performance history, choir members’ participation data etc. It’s an effective solution that eliminates the hassles of recording the specified information manually, which is time consuming and monotonous. The data recorded with the program can be easily printed or exported into MS Word for different purposes. The utility is capable of supporting you in recording almost each type of data, thus easing your daily routine tasks from prayers songs, members’ info, till worship order, and more. Though it comprises of variety of features, yet operating the application is very easy even for novice users.
On launch the RCL Music Ministry you get to see a pleasing and decent console with different options placed on menu bar as well as the left pane. With the left side panel, it associates Songs, Song Reports, Song Views, Performances, Collection, Choir Members, Ensemble, and Attendance. All these options include different sub-features shown with a drop-down menu to select from. Using ‘Songs’ tab you record songs info along with the details relating artist, composer, arranger names, category, orchestra parts, style, voice, and even more. Along with this, you’re provided Orchestra parts, History, Note, Bible, Collection, etc tabs on the right for recording data. Also you can check song views and generate different reports relating songs, history, orchestration, scripture, themes, and payout. Next is Performances tab for tracking the Worship Order and History, and further ‘Collection’ options supports maintaining collection, design reports, maintain storage type, inventory list, etc. Furthermore, you can also record Choir Members information with name, address, contact city, voice, along with tracking email members, and mailing labels. In addition to this you can track members’ attendance, inventory, administrator maintenance, manage other records, play songs, export data, and do even more. Not only the mentioned ones, but a variety of features is associated with the program to keep record of different information.
The comprehensive data recording options present with RCL Music Ministry 7.0 application makes it a rather useful utility for churches. The tool boasts of a rich feature set and coupled with its excellent functioning, is a deserving candidate for a score of 4.5 rating points.
