Frame Maker Pro is an imaging and desktop enhancement program that adds frames to digital photos in order to enhance personal albums, projects, websites or desktop wallpapers.

Pros: The application adds frames to digital images. These can be chosen from an existing set of frames. For the creative ones, a large set of frames could be created and added to this pile. Preset frames, shapes as well as backgrounds and borders can be chosen to get the optimum effect you are looking for.

Shapes can be decided as well as creative borders can me made and added. To get the best out of the framed picture you could edit the photos with the functionality available. Quite useful, whether you want to make your albums attractive or add value to websites or may be even a desktop, these tools can be handy.

Color balance, brightness and contrast manipulation, cropping, rotation/flip are some functions available. Range of effects can be applied to the photos prior to framing.

Once you are happy with the effect, you have the means to do a full screen review and of course printing support.

The user interface is well organized. Menus, icons and the user options make sense and easy to use.

Cons: The effects that can be applied are limited.

Overall: While many album making packages provide the frame making capability for a set of pictures, these effects may not be available for single pictures. This is a easy to use, fairly well designed package for the stated purpose. Rated at 4 stars.
