MagicEffect Photo Editor is an image editing software that helps you to add many magic effects onto your digital photo. With MagicEffect Photo Editor, just by mouse clicking, you can add many wonderful effects onto your photo.

Pros: MagicEffect Photo Editor helps add several effects to digital images. These effects are available in several categories that include Preset filter, Sketch filter, Light filter, Star filter, Amazing filter, Dream filter, Weather filter, Gradient filter, Color filter, Art filter, Texture filter, Edge filter, Frame etc. A mouse click is all that it takes to add an effect to the images. Each group has several effects that can be applied. There is a drop down list of colors available. This changes the color of the effects thereby widening the choices that can be applied. Since the user can apply more than one effect on the same image, one after the other, it again increases the alternatives available to create effects. You can easily change the size and position of the photos, flowers, cartoon pictures or text just by clicking and dragging them. A mask effect is also available in order to facilitate the image editing process.

The interface has a preview window and this is side by side with the window showing the original picture. One thus compare the results with the original and decide if a particular effect is to be used. Set of undo/redo helps you recover whatever mistake you may make.

Cons: The problem with alternatives that are all set prior to use, however much variations are applied, the original choices may not be to the liking of everyone. It is much better to have the tools available to create effects when creativity can be used to the fullest effect. Presets are good for quick work though.

Overall: Good features for a very specific purpose, easy to use this application rates a very good 3 star level.
