Sothink FLV Player, also known as Flash Video Player, is a 100% free FLV Player. This flash video player can play all files with FLV extension (*.flv), and play FLV videos encoded by different codecs, including Screen Video, Sorenson H.263, on2 vp6.

Pros: Free video player plays video files with *.flv extension, the flash live video format. The application works through the standard interaction menus such as when asked to open a file it opens windows explorer to choose the file to be played. Alternately one could simply drag & drop the file into the screen area. There’s a companion downloader that detects compatible videos as you browse through the internet and lets such files be downloaded.

User interface is organized as a video player screen with standard play, pause, forward, rewind and pause controls. There are a set of menu drop downs too if you prefer that. The screen can be resized to one’s preference and played full screen too. No artifacts seen on different screen sizes.

The application supports a range of codecs through which the video files may have been generated such as Screen Video, Sorensen H.263, on2vp6 etc.

Cons: Nothing obviously problematic detected.

Overall: Over all a good player with easy to use controls. Rated at 4 stars.
