Use this code package to add full featured data CD/DVD recording functionality to a program. It supports whole set of re-writeable recording media including CD-ROM, BD-RE, BD-R , HD DVD-R, CD-R, CD-RW,DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD+R, DDCD-ROM, DDCD-R and DDCD-RW. The newer high density recordings such as HD and Blue-ray are also supported. Data recording happens on the fly without going through the intermediate stage of building and ISO image first or temporary files, If need be ISO compatible data files also can be created easily. UDF compatibility is also available. CD/DVD Copying/Imaging Support is provided. Multi session media is created quite easily too, import previous sessions as required. Bootable disc can be created too. Read after write verification is fast.

File naming/ management functions are quite flexible. Built-in ASPI Layer available for Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP, creating smart references, Unicode file naming, long file name system and DBCS & MBCS support available.

Cons: There have been reports of no appropriate support being available, user ratings have been quite bad too.

Overall the specs look good however whether the code pack works well when integrated to your application seems to be in doubt. Overall rating 1 star.
