Pros: The HomePrint Calendar has a picture library that is used extensively to create the graphics design used in creating the calendar. These are all vector based files so that eventual file size produced does not change because the pictures have been enlarged or reduced. Nor does the quality change. The square shaped graphics. Vertical column shaped pictures or the horizontal row shaped items can be stretched or rotated or flipped without worrying about file size getting any heavier yet being able to create stunning effects. Backdrops provide a lot of background graphics sorted by topics that makes the calendar document bright and attractive. Graphics are in full color. Even the mono graphics pictures could have color accents, color background and several other effects are available too.

Layouts that use these pictures are another part of the design to be produced. The large collections of layouts available make creating a calendar as easy as having a graphics designer in stand-by. Adding text is easy too and features like placement and fit text to object take care of using the right, proportionate size of texts being used. Special headline text lets one use shapes and styles of text material used. Text can have color, color behind the text and several other effects.

The user interface is quite easy to use and the icons are quite intuitive.

Cons: If creating a custom calendar for yearly/monthly or even daily use is a passion with you, this is a good tool. But it may seem to be a overkill otherwise.
