MultiExtractor is a utility to extract multiple files from your EXE, DLL file etc. This utility is very useful to everyone, right from the student to professionals. This utility supports wide range of formats like EXE, DLL, Microsoft office files etc.
Features: Most of the times we need to reuse some icon or an image from an existing application file but we don’t know where these files are stored. MultiExtractor utility solves your problem by extracting all image/audio/video files from an application.
The extraction process is simple. Open the file from which you want to extract, you can open executable files, Microsoft office files, binary files or dump files. In the next step choose extract modes as “explore mode to choose and extract” or “standard mode to extract only”. You can check/uncheck other options as scan temporary resources, force unpack for EXE, SCR, DLL files, overwrite of files etc. Once your choice is done click on start button to start extraction. You can see the output in explorer mode with details like format, number of files extracted, ratio and summary of size. You can view the extracted data by moving to respective folder. Utility allows you to set General and filtering options for the tool. With General option, set type of file for detection and unpack, set timeout for process scan, include un-stored file, check/uncheck file format for GFX, video and music files. With filtering option you can define what kind of files utility should process, you can also set image properties, icon/cursor properties and size of files.
Overall: This is an excellent utility to extract image, icon files from the EXE, DLL or from office files.
