This is a picture cataloging and search tool.

With PhotoBank you can organize your pictures and search by keyword, folder and date. The software makes it easy to share over the Internet or the company Intranet. The interface is simple, functional but not very great. Some of the messages are not correctly translated from the original. In the cataloging mode the software lets you browse through your collection and add details like caption, credit, folder details, date and time. If you want to add some explanatory notes, that`s possible too. These are the keys one could use later for searching. This tool essentially organizes the photos, after these details have been entered, so that these photos can be found easily later. One issue in this cataloging effort missing is the ability to add tags that can make searching easy. Other features let you create a Photbank CD and print the pictures easily.

Edit group of controls provide you the means to select a specific photograph, if the search turns up more than one. You could select all of them too. Options group provide you means to manage a group of features such as cataloging, security, network, managing files and hot folders capability. The security and hot folder features are nice. One other set of features you miss quite badly is the ability of reading a lot of metadata that is available in today`s digital photos. These help cataloging and searching of photos tremendously.
