Rapid Gallery Creator allows you to easily build web galleries with just a few mouse clicks. No knowledge of HTML or CSS is required.

Pros: Absolute novices also can produce web galleries with Rapid Gallery Creator. It is as easy as selecting an input folder containing the photos that needs to go into the gallery and then saying create a gallery. No knowledge of a style sheet or HTML is required on the part of the user. Select an output folder that’ll hold the gallery and select a few parameters from helpful drop down lists. The click on the create button to create the gallery. Selection of the thumbnail sizes and the full blown images are also done on the interaction page.

Image ALT text and descriptions can be created. Taking care to stuff these with right keywords will make the gallery SE optimized. Further, to protect your images from being copied easily one could specify watermarks. Location can be specified through a drop down list as could be the text to be typed as you want the watermark to be. Locations that can be defined are the four corners and at the center of the photo.

Many other options are available if you want greater control over the created web galleries. You can specify background color, number of gallery rows and columns, resize the images, choose between popup images and usual html links for the full-sized images.

Cons: Some photo, particularly cropping and simple brightness and contrast enhancement could have been useful. But then that is not really a problem as this tool is supposed to be used for creating galleries from photos that would have been processed already.

Watermark location could have been like a drag & drop of the text string entered. Depending on the photograph, placing a watermark at fixed locations can interfere with the aesthetics of the photo.
