This is a Raster to Vector converter. What that means is this can convert a bit image to a vector based drawing where, points, lines etc are entities rather than a pixel. Image file formats that can be handled by the application are BMP, JPG,TGA,TIF,PCX etc. Most CAD systems today allow raster images to be imported. But you cannot edit these drawings/images.CAD programs can only work with vector files. Thus the need for this conversion process. Overall: These automatic conversions do not work most often and the follow up editing is quite heavy.
