This is a software application that helps you convert PDF document [pages to images in BMP format.
PDF to BMP Converter converts PDF to popular BMP image file format. The interface is really very simple. Since this is a batch converter, main area of the interface is given over to display and controls for creating a batch list of PDF documents that you want to process. Controls include add file, remove file, remove all etc. The files listed show relevant stats including password status; if the file has one etc. Output file path can be defined, if you do not want the source file to be altered. Then you have settings that can define quite a few things about the image. These include image resolution in DPI, image rotation and size and some color adjustments such as if you want RGB etc. You are able to specify page ranges in each document that you want converted. On the right you get a preview of the page converted into image. The conversion is done on a single click on the assigned button.
This is the equivalent of an image grab from a document. While most such image grab programs give you the option of selecting a specific part, this grabs the full page. Thus, wherever you need the image of the content from a specific document, this is a good tool for that. One application that comes to mind is a book store or a library where the image of the document could be used for added value. The program works in all the Windows platforms right up to Vista. It can handle other image formats such as TIF, TIFF, BMP, EMF, JPG, GIF, PNG, TGA etc.
