ImageBatch can help you create thumbnails and compress thousands of images into a variety of formats, including JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP, and TIFF. If you spend hours creating thumbnails, this is the program for you. Using a standard computer, ImageBatch can generate 1000 images in about 30 seconds. It's very easy and quick to install. The interface was designed to "Keep it Simple", but without sacrificing any of the features you need.
How does it work?
Using this program is very simple. Select the source image folder, and ImageBatch searches all images in the folder you selected or in all sub-folders (when the sub-folder option is selected). After that you can select the destination folder or location for the thumbnail images. You have the option to specify the size, file format, compression for JPG image format, and the constraint proportions of the images.
In addition, you can also set a name format and order for the files and define a prefix or a suffix and number sequence. For example, if you are making thumbnails for a computer hardware catalog and you are working with printers, you can name the file "printer_" as a prefix and the filename as a number sequence, starting with "001" and suffix _thumb. The result of this operation is a list of files with the name:
printer_001_thumb.jpg, printer_002_thumb.jpg, printer_003_thumb.jpg, etc.
The ImageBatch Trial Version is a fully functioning version of the software, but it does include a watermark in all generated images. Try out the Trial Version of ImageBatch. This will give you the opportunity to decide whether ImageBatch is the right solution for you.
