Pros: AquaSoft PhotoFlash is a free multimedia-browser for the PC. It helps find multimedia files like images, sounds, MP3s and videos. With AquaSoft PhotoFlash one can search whole folder structures. One can run file operations; ¬ copy, delete, move, send images via email, set photos as Windows background on the files found. The application allows important data to be read of selected files such as EXIF data. Creating a slide show with found images and great transitions is possible with the program.

Cons: There are language versions. One selects this at the start of execution. However, the messages are mixed. On a English version too German/ or some such similar language messages start coming. Even the interface messages change to this language or languages.

First part of the application is about finding files of the multimedia types. Basically that’s running several searches with the right file extension names. These are functionality that any decent search function, even the Windows explorer will have. File operations feature is already available in the explorer.

Second part of the functionality, the creation of slide show feels somewhat disjointed.
