Are you a fan and collector of MP3 music? While the quality of free sound clips available for download from the Internet frequently leaves much to be desired, it still is the main source of expanding one's collection of MP3 music. Too bad that often the files come with little or no description at all, named after the track numbers and missing information about genre, album etc. Use TagScanner for renaming MP3 files and editing information about them.
TagScanner is a four-in-one MP3 tool that lets you rename files using data from their ID3 tags, edit the ID3 tags of any MP3 file itself, batch generate information for ID3 tags and create playlists of MP3 music. It has a simple and easy to use tabbed interface but the design, especially the dark colors of the program window, are something of a nuisance.
There are quite a few options to customize in each and every of the four tools present in the program. Some are unique - like capitalization of tag contents. The program also features, among many other useful things, exporting playlists to HTML and CSV file format. Download this free program today and check it out yourself.
