Qplot helps get a better view of your data. It is possible to visualize scatter data instantly and interactively. Support line point (vector) and tabular column (matrix) data, Import/ export Excel data by just copy and paste. Locate or read data points easily and accurately on the plots.

Pros: Whenever you need to find the graphical representation of data, this application Qplot is useful. You may have scatter data with just x and y values. They can be visualized and manipulated interactively. Data can simply be copied and pasted from and Excel sheet via the clipboard. Plot view can be viewed very close while maintaining the ratio of the axes. Data file is text based (any file that can be viewed by Notepad). Two major file layouts are supported free form and count tagged. Free form is the most commonly used data format essentially it has multiple rows and columns of data. The scaling of the axes is deduced from the range of data values. Count tagged is another generally quick saved vector, matrix format which has a row that indicates the total number of data and next row dumps the data one by one. In case of a matrix it’d be two numbers in the first row indicating number of rows and columns of data available followed by the data in a matrix form.

It supports extracting of data value from existing or published graphs in a PDF or a Word document. Tilt graph or irregular shaped graph is supported. Separate axes that do not share a common origin are supported. Points can be dragged to exact location with the help of built in magnifying glass.

Cons: Help consists of a single page on mouse shortcuts. Details on the web site is not very clear either about data formats, which has to be guessed from the samples provided.

Overall a nice application that is generally easy to use. The plotting features are nice too. This application rates a 3 star easily.
