Advanced DWG to Image Workshop is a batch converter that allows you to convert DWG and DXF files to TIF (TIFF), JPG (JPEG), BMP, GIF and PNG without the need of AutoCAD.

Pros: To use Advanced DWG to Image Workshop, you don`t need AutoCAD installed in your PC. Advanced DWG to Image Workshop creates high quality images files from CAD drawings. These are quite often useful as reference to your suppliers and other collaborators, in preparing proposals and so on. It gives you the ability to load multiple files and convert them with one click. The interface has the buttons necessary for creating a list of files and folders to be used. It is integrated with a file browser window that makes finding the necessary file or folder quite easy.

Scale your conversion using Extents, Display, or Layout Limits. Options include standard paper sizes, customized sizes, output colors, select zoom type and select image format. Color options are 256 color, grayscale or black and white. SHX directories options include choice of SHX fonts. Output layout choices include model space, all layouts or layout by name and paper space. Select from current, Model (layout), or Layouts Only (excluding the Model) You can also select layouts to convert by name. Identify specific drawing layers to convert, by layer name or by type (on/off, lock/unlock, frozen/unfrozen, or plottable/ unplottable). Line width choices can be either default or specific ones out of a drop down list. Control line width scaling in the image file. You can use the line width options from the original file, display or suppress line widths in your conversion, or use your own custom line width. DWG or DXF created in R2.5 to AutoCAD 2008 versions are supported.

Cons: Including PDF support would have been very useful.
