Any DWG and DXF to PDF Converter converts AutoCAD drawings to vector PDFs. In many projects, often, you have collaborators/partners who do need to view drawings. However, they may not have the need to edit/modify these drawings at all. There is no need for these partners then to invest in a full-fledged CAD system just for the viewing capability. There are a range of products available that address this niche and this is one such product. This product is stand alone and does not need the AutoCAD or compatible or the Acrobat family of products to get the conversion done. This tool gives you the capability to choose layouts or layers to convert, as well as control your PDF output colors. You are able to choose layers by layer name or type of it, output option choices include Layout options include full color, grayscale, or black-and-white and the layout choices are current, Model, or Layouts Only.
The program supports all the versions of the DRG/DXF formats released so far including R2.5, R2.6 to R2005/2006/2007/2008/2009/2010/2011 file formats. This is a batch processor. It could save you quite a bit of hassle by processing multiple files at a time. The controls available make it easy to gather a batch and get the conversion done in one go. For a single file conversion the right click menu option is convenient. You could convert the drawings to images too. The controls are simply grouped together under two different tabs.
