EZ Plasmid Map 1.9 is a web-based tool that allows users to instantly create web compatible plasmid map. The program supports to draw, save, and export plasmid images quickly, along with adding Genes and RE sites; grouping multiple RE sites; repositioning labels, saving and loading plasmids, and even more. While creating a plasmid map, you can present genes customized on the basis of color, arrows, and orientation. Commencing map creation with web-based application, EZ Plasmid Map 1.9, first you’ve to enter plasmid size (bp), and plasmid name. Defining these, you’ve to begin creating a New Plasmid, loading an Old Plasmid, or analyzing a Plasmid. For example, if you took the task to ‘Create a New Plasmid’ then specifying the plasmid size and name you’d require adding Restriction and Gene to it. Adding ‘Restriction’, you’ve to enter and add RE Location and RE Name. The plasmid is displayed at mid area where you can easily mark and add the Gene. While adding a Gene the program prompts you to specify Gene Start (bp), Gene End, Gene Name, along with marking Arrows feature and defining specific color for it.
