With a digital image lot metadata may be stored. Sometime as a professional, you would like to hide / restrict this information to be shared with others. Using ExifCleaner utility, you can clean / remove this EXIF information.

ExifCleaner utility is useful to remove EXIF data from your image file. Utility allows you to perform batch operations as well. Add files to the image list for which you would like to remove EXIF data. Click on the file to view image and EXIF information. It displays tag such as main, details, interoperability and thumbnail. For each option tag you can see more details like name and its value. For example, Camera Model as Name and Value is COOLPIX S51. Application allows you to prepare clean setup, in this you can setup file options as remove / replace original files or rename modified files and place in source folder or place modified files in the specified folder.

You can specify what action such as Ask, skip, replace and rename should perform in case of overwriting. Set clean options as “strip EXIF data entirely”, “remove only the specified tags” or “remove all tags except specified”. Once all settings are done click on Quick Clean button to remove EXIF data from your image. You can see the EXIF state is changed to clean successfully and all the EXIF data is removed from the file as per your settings.
