     It seems that there are so many free media players that it is hard to choose the one you could consider the default one. As the industry grows, you can have different fully featured and free players for each day of the week. Ashampoo Media Player+ is for Wednesday.
     Ashampoo Media Player+ is a sound player with a variety of features and functions. It supports more than 20 audio and video file formats and can play more still with the aid of free plug-ins. It is a skinnable player, too - dozens of free skins are available at the developer's website. The thing that matters is the dynamic playlists feature: for example, it can play files contained in a particular directory and modify the list automatically as you add new files to the folder or remove old ones. It is compatible with most playlist formats and has one of its own: P4U. You can also download a plug-in that will enable you to burn CDs with the program.
     The program is free, yet it displays ads in playlist/skin windows. To get rid of the ads, register your copy for free at the developer's website. Download this player today and check it out yourself.
