They say it will save to WMA format (and others), but this is untrue. The free version only saves as WAV.

I used this software to create ring tones from some of my MP3s. It works great for that. :)

Very good. Just a pity that it only saves wav in the free version. But there are many free converters out there.

Folks, note that this software is NOT Freeware. If you want to edit MP3 files and then save them in MP3 format, you are required to upgrade to the "Deluxe" version. 99% of people who download this program are going to expect to have this key feature--saving MP3 files. So for all intents and purposes, this "free" copy is really an evaluation copy. Note that you can save files in "Wave" format, so you could still use this program in conjunction with another program that can convert Wave files to MP3 files.

I have Vista and motherboard sound only. The recorder in Vista records wma. Audacity wont load wma for some copyright issue (at the time I wrote this). But this software does and works great. Highly recommended.
