Due to the smaller size of the software it does not takes much time it getting on to your system. The appearance of the screen is simple and it’s small in size. It shows three menu options and the sub menu options are also shown on the screen. It has the different settings options. You can start recording simply by clicking the red button shown on the screen. The recording can be paused and resumed at any point of time. After you are done with recording or for stopping it, the green color button does the work. With the general settings you can enable playing the AVI file when recording stops. Browse and select the temporary directory for recording or you may even choose the default directory. There are different options for recording and for naming the file. Through the Audio options the format can be set as MP3 or WAV. Record settings give access to recording control options and also there are options for setting the parameters for recording. The record control has the settings for microphone, CD player, Line-in and Wave. Set any shortcut keys as to your choice for recording, pausing and stop functions.

The downside point of the program is that it lacks a help file. Thus the general user may find some difficulty in case of parameter or for some recording settings. They won’t find any information to know about all these. But beside this the software still is much simpler to use and do the recording.
