Zulu is a professional DJ mixing software for Windows PCs. It is meant for a professional or amateur as well as professional DJs. Mixing and broadcast of live music, MP3 and other audio is possible with this tool. Zulu lets you mix your music live while applying effects on the fly. Effects include Distortion, High Pass Filter, Reverb, Phaser, Flanger and Delay. The tool will detect the beat and assign a BPM for a track while loading and change the tempo on the second deck for synchronization and smooth crossover. Drag & drop is supported so the DJ can get the tracks into the interface quite simply. He/she is able to monitor the tracks through headphone through secondary outputs. A wide selection of formats are supported that include wav, mp3, vox, gsm, real audio, au, aif, flac, ogg, etc.

The DJ is able to change the pitch on each track in real time. The pitch can be speeded up or slowed down to suit the mood of the listeners. Cue pointers can be added on tracks to let the DJ jump to the cue point directly rather than play the track from the start. Real time equalization and looping by maintaining BPM are also available.The interface offered is similar to electronic equipment typically used by DJs. It is easy to monitor progress or apply filters and effects. You could use it with any USB DJ mixing consoles.
