PowerPoint presentations with 3D image illustrations add a dash of style. The application includes a library of 3D slides and charts. Well integrated into PowerPoint meaning that great 3D effects are always available from within Powerpoint.
Pros: Perspector lets you add a variety of 3D effects to your slides, 3D diagrams and charts as well as individual shapes could be added. A library of such illustrations helps one add a dash of style to the presentation. Such illustrations include 3D bullet lists, the most common feature in presentations, yet looks different in 3D.
Editing of 3D shapes work the same way as the 2D diagrams and charts in Powerpoint. Drag and drop the shapes and use the handles to resize the graphic element. Besides, an editor interface surrounding the charts, appear that make editing the items very easy. Help documentation that include videos on the topics are very useful. Creating and editing 3D titles are as easy as rest of the 3d item creations. Text, font, colors and effects are some of the things one can manipulate for maximum effect.
The Perspector image library and image layout have a large collection for every conceivable situation. With further editing these can provide a huge range of illustrations that can be used. Only other possible way of adding 3D stuff is via 3d software like 3ds Max and Maya etc. While they are very general and rich in features, they are predominantly for 3d graphic design purposes and takes time to learn. Perspector gets around that problem with features that have highly useful 3D features related to presentations and is closely integrated with the Powerpoint thereby giving a easy to use context.
Cons: Rather than a separate panel that holds 3D related controls and menus these features could have been integrated with the 2D features toolbars somehow. Though not inconvenient, this detracts somewhat from the most familiar interface of MS Powerpoint.
Overall, this application is a well designed, easy to use, easy to learn program. This is a definite candidate for 4 star rating.
