     Have you ever tried to create your own MP3s or convert your CDs into MP3 files? That is quite easy but most sound programs can't convert without creating WAV files first. That means the program uses lots of space and lots of time. There is a way to avoid all that headache - MP3 Sound Recorder.
     MP3 Sound Recorder converts sound to MP3 directly without converting it into a WAV file first. This program converts sound from any source, be it your microphone, a CD, radio, TV sound, you name it. It also supports the option of recording sound to WAV files.
     Now for the features: this tiny (a simple tetris game can use up much more space) and functional (no useless stuff here!) application supports a full range of MP3 bitrates, channels (mono or stereo) and uses a default Windows mixer. The most interesting feature of the program is that you can build a queue of recordings. Just go to the Queue menu, push the New button, change a few options and you don't have to wind up various alarm clocks and run reminders to remember that you wanted to record the last radio show.
     MP3 Sound Recorder is shareware: the unregistered version will let you record for only three minutes at a time. Try it today and you'll see that MP3 recording is a piece of cake!
