This is a tool to join multiple video files into one large video file.

Pros: Naturpic Video Joiner is a tool to join multiple AVI, DivX, XviD, MPEG I/II, DAT, ASF, WMV, MOV, QT files into one large video file. The user interface lets the user create a list of video clips to be joined. What’s interesting is that each of these clips can be of different format as long as they are one of the supported types. Main controls on the interface are for manipulating the list. Add or delete a file through the file explorer, move items up or down etc. As each item is added statistics related to the file are displayed. These are the type, duration, video size, file size and date it was last modified. As a by-product of this support single files can be converted to the output formats supported. AVI and MPEG are the supported output formats and any video clip in a format supported by this application can be converted to AVI or MPEG through the same process. More statistics are displayed along by the side of the preview screen. This shows the details of the video and audio. Video format (WMV or MPEG4 or whatever), video size width x height in terms of number of pixels, frame rate, bit rate and duration are shown. Audio format related data in terms of audio format, channels, frequency, bit rate and duration are shown. All that needs to done after this is to click on the join button.

This brings up the output parameter settings page that has the choice between AVI and MPEG. What comes up next is a page for setting output parameters that define the codec, video size, frame rates as well as audio parameters. For the MPEG videos one can define some presets such as NTSC VCD compatible and so on. Choices can be made between VCD SVCD and DVD for NTSC or PAL. A progress bar and a log area keeps you informed of how things are going.

Cons: No obvious problems seen.

Overall: Nice clean interface, limited functionality but well implemented. This is a 4 star rated package.
