A video conversion tool that converts digital photos and music to a proper video format compatible for ipod. Enables you to create slideshow, add transition effects, and audio tracks to the file.
Pros: iPod Photo Slideshow Maker 3.0 b3 enables you to create entertaining MPEG-4 photo slideshows playable on your iPod. The user-friendly wizard has two editorial tabs – one for image and another for audio that makes your job easy in adding and removing files. In just few clicks you can create quick slideshows of your pictures. There is also a first frame option in the image tab. The software supports all image formats including bmp, jpg, png, tiff, pcx, pgm, pict, tga, wmf and eps. You can add music to accompany your photo album and synchronize background sound with pictures.
However, you also can create a slideshow even without an audio, but turn on the NO SOUND option in the audio tab. This adds nosound.mp3 to the output mpeg file. The software supports WAV and MP3 audio formats. The software has more than 150 transition effects including fade effects. It also supports Pan& Zoom effects. Import photos by clicking the ADD button in the Image tab. Once done, select the transition effects for each photograph by clicking on it. Then add audio track to it. The software also has a preview pane that allows you to rehearse the video or slideshow before conversion. Once previewed, save the file. All of your pictures and music files are saved in mp4 format. The transformation performed by the software includes iPod photo slideshow, photo to iPod, jpg to iPod, and iPod photo video with transition effects. The software is compatible across Windows XP, 2000, 98, Me and NT.
Cons: Though everything seems to be perfect, the software requires an audio file before conversion. At least a nosound.mp3 is required before conversion.
