After selecting "Lame MP3 Encoder," and making sure "Delete wmv" was off, and selecting "256 kbps," I click begin. It fails spectacularly, giving hundreds of errors. So I put in 64 kbps, and it converts fine, at a massively slow rate, but deletes all of my originals that I purposely deselected to make sure they wouldn`t be deleted. So I`m stuck with crappy 64 kbps music without the originals to convert them from again. Wonderful. This program recommended to everyone who wants to be pissed off!

Works great- choose LAME encoder. By default it`ll convert the wma to wav then to mp3. Choose to delete the wav in Settings and voila! > yer wma`s are now mp3`s. Simple program and a no-brainer.

Worked fine. Needed to set to "Lame Encoder." I had no problem, but this ** might ** have been a plug-in that I had gotten when I installed Audacity quite a while back.

Works like a charm with Windows XP. Now referred to as Meda Batch Audio Converter. Configure to remove the WAV file, select the LAME converter and choose your encoding frequency and away you go.

EXCELLENT program! Had to tweek the settings (under settings, choose "LAME ENCODER") and change the quality (under settings, chose "Setup" and change to 256 Kbps) and away I went! The files played perfectly -- I was afraid I would only get a partial file or "sample" unless I paid, but this is not the case. Five Stars from me!

I installed the program and tried to run it but received the following two error messages: "Runtime Error! Program: C:\PR... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application`s support team for more information." "Batch audio converter has caused an error in BATCH AUDIO CONVERTER.EXE. Batch audio converter will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer."

The software didn`t work the first time, I had to go into options and choose the "lame recorder", then close out of the app and open it up again. Definately a bug.
