DMLW is an Open Source technology for creating and displaying 3D and 2D content on the web through common web-browsers.

The content is compatible with common browsers. 3DMLW Markup Language is a specification for creating 3DMLW formatted documents. 3DMLW is similar to XHTML. Style sheets makes for easy and comfortable designing; You need a viewer for your browser to be able to view the content created with the 2DMLW. These plug-ins are available for some of the browsers already. There`s a stand alone browser for viewing 3DMLW documents and the 3D models.3DMLW gives the developer an easy, comfortable and cost effective way to develop real 3D applications for the web or desktop environment. As of now 3DMLW content can be viewed through Internet Explorer 6 and later, Firefox, K-Meleon, Safari and Chrome browsers. You can use several media types for creating 3DMLW documents. These include 3D objects 3DS, OBJ, AN8 and BLEND formats, pictures in TGA, JPG and PNG formats, audio in WAV and OGG formats, plain and formatted text, copy and paste of text as well as hyperlinks. Scripting and user inputs make for highly interactive content. This is further aided by mouse events, keyboard events and collision events. Key frames animation, shaders, materials texture availability etc help make the 3D models realistic.
