Bitdrom is a Java based BitTorrent client. A range of functions and options are built-in to make the downloading through BitTorrent smooth and without problems. The Bitdrom allows the user to add plug-ins that extends the features of the bit torrent experience. It also offers a range of custom settings. The user can initiate multiple torrent downloads. Set limits for upload and download speeds, both globally and per torrent. That can give you the opportunity to tune up the process very closely. The functionality of the program covers queuing/priority systems both on torrents and files, start/stop seeding options and a range of status information. It includes an embedded tracker you can easily set up and operate. Customization allows quite a bit of flexibility seeding rules, the ability to configure your disk cache, etc.

The interface is not necessarily simple. But, it is well organized. There are so many options and settings available that it is definitely going to be a little tough to get familiar. You need to understand the torrent process very clearly, in particular. The interface is organized in tabs, grouping the related controls together. Two windows below the main toolbar track the files being downloaded in the top window. The window below that shows content you are seeding. "Show Details" will let you get details about the download process and even a graphical view of the peers connected to the file download. Download status of the pieces being downloaded, the percent completed etc. are also displayed. A good tool for convenient file sharing.
