This is a software that lets you stream videos to whoever you want through chat services instead of sending webcam generated videos (which you may not have).

Stream/play videos and movies through messenger and web cam chat services like Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Paltalk, ICQ, Camfrog, and on all other messengers. You are able to share the videos you like with your friends and family through a range of messenger services. You could also capture a set of screens and create a video of it for whatever purpose. This could easily be a nice way of creating a training video. You can capture parts of it or full screen. Same is true of application windows you open on your machine. You can choose the service you want to utilize for sending out the video. The service has to support video, of course.

So, if you like to share videos with friends or members of your family, this is a tool that can be very useful. It is not really the replacement of a webcam as the name seems to suggest, but a means of distributing this videos we seem to collect from all over the place. There are a lot of videos we get streamed from various sources, download from places like YouTube etc. These are then easily shared. Meaning that there may not be any copyright issues involved in distributing such content. However one should be very careful about contents such as movies released through DVDs by the studios or downloaded from services like the Netflix. There is a copyright issue to be cautious about before you distribute the content freely.
