This is a software tool that lets you download audio books in several formats.

Audiobook Downloader Pro is a download manager of free audio books from the LibriVox and Internet Archive catalogs. Searching for a specific title also is facilitated by the tool and lets you download the content when found. The collections mentioned include more than 4000 titles and something like 250,000 audio files. Many of these are available in multiple formats, and you could choose the format you want. Even when compressed, the audio books are large files and the features of pause/resume, when downloading, is useful so that you can continue with other work. A book`s summary can be accessed by using the Open Audiobook Page feature. For listening to the book you need an audio player, which can be the Angel’s Vox audio book player. Integration is also possible with whatever audio player you are using with the system.

Progress pop-up shows how the download is going. This screen has the pause/resume controls on the page. The settings dialog box lets you set if you want to enable instant search, want to specify a file path for the downloaded content rather than the default one, format to be downloaded and if you want to check for updates when the program starts. The settings are easy, click on appropriate radio buttons! The program is also available in a portable form. Multi-threaded downloading makes it possible to achieve high download speeds when appropriate processors are available that handle multiple threads.
