Vypress Auvis (see screen shot) is a user-friendly one-way message client that resides in your PC's system tray and allows you to receive messages from network administrators. It is a message processor only, and does not allow you to send messages. It allows you to disable any of the extra features through special registry keys. It is suitable for network administrators of corporate LANs or WANs who are looking for broadcasting and unicasting service. It can receive messages from Vypress Messenger (direct TCP messages plus UDP broadcasts), WinPopup/Messaging Service (Windows NT), any Unix system with SMB protocol enabled, and from a NetWare Send command. This is a limited shareware version and some registry keys aren't supported. This new version improves SMB receiving capability in multi-protocols networks.
