An add on tool for eMule, the peer to peer file sharing program, that improves its performance.

Pros: The eMule Super Booster is an add on tool for the eMule peer to peer file sharing program that does mainly a couple of things to improve its performance: one is the fact that utilizes as much of the available bandwidth as possible; the other is that it allows the user to get a file from more sources, by performing searches for a file even when a file is downloading, so that when sources are found they are added to the list of sources from which the file is being downloaded and so the downloading time is reduced in the long run. Apart from this it does a few things to reduce user input that may be required, such as the managing of downloads automatically based on current conditions and auto loading on startup, starting all the user’s downloads automatically.

Cons: The simplicity of the interface that is designed only to allow the user to press the “ACCELERATE!” button is a problem because that is all that it does. It does not allow the user to somehow adjust the functionality of the tool so that it may work even better under certain circumstances. The result being that on a broadband connection there is not too much of an improvement in the performance. This is frustrating.

Overall: 4 stars. It works fairly well and shows quite a bit of performance improvement for slower connections. Apart from this the fact that the user has to do little because a lot of functions are being managed automatically is a real plus. The minus is that it does not allow the user to tweak performance in any way.
