     There are various tools for monitoring changes on websites and pages - that is handy for those who detest newsletters and can't be bothered to visit their favorite websites twice a day for the single purpose of finding out if there's been an update. Yet more people would be interested in getting the same kind of program to monitor their local documents or, say, files located on an FTP server. DocuMonitor will help you do that.
     DocuMonitor is a powerful application that lets you monitor web pages, FTP and HTTP files, local documents for changes and report to you the results. The tool works in a wizard-like mode - you add new documents and then can switch among them and check them manually. The program checks the documents for changes and updates on startup as well.
     The evaluation version lets you monitor up to two documents simultaneously. It also lacks a useful feature that is present in the registered version - periodic checks of all documents. The extensive help file is not available with the installation file and has to be downloaded separately (334 KB). Try this tool today and check it out yourself.
