I'm sure you've worked on dial-up and have seen the little lights in the system tray which signify connection activity. Well, NAD is an upgraded version of the little lights. It displays a TCP/IP and UDP data transfer graphs in three modes: "little lights", "little diagram" and "big diagram". You can use one of these, or two, or all three. NAD monitors all connections, dial-up and network and calculates the traffic. You can set the program to start with Windows, choose the intervals and create a color scheme for each mode out of system colors - the color chooser even has a preview facility. Setup and operation is very simple, and the program can be used as a primitive network load monitor. Just keep in mind, that this time-limited beta will expire on 31 December 2001.
