This add-on tool splits large trace files of Triticomīs Protocol Analyzer 'LANdecoder32' into multiple files containing only up to 65,000 frames (or even less). Trace Chopper is easy-to-use, simple, efficient. LANdecoder32 offers long-term capturing. Up to 255 trace files containing up to 16 MBytes of trace data may be saved on hard disk. Dependend on 'frame slice' and 'buffer' values, more than 65,535 frames may be saved within each trace file saved on hard disk.Since the built-in protocol decoder only deals with the first 65,535 frames, ignoring any furthermore frames within the trace file, there is a bad lack of information. In some cases it could be possible that more than 120,000 additional framescould *NOT* be seen within LD32's protocol decoder. This problem ist solved with 'Trace Chopper'.
