This is done by hiding the user’s IP address while the user surfs the web. In this way, the user’s IP address and therefore the user’s computer does not become vulnerable to attack because attackers that use a user’s IP address to launch attack can no longer do so because this information is no longer available. One is able to protect their identity from possible hackers.

Additionally, from the privacy perspective there are a number of other features that Real Hide IP offers. It offers an advanced cookie management console that allows a user to decide what cookies to allow and which ones to block. In the severest mode all cookies are blocked. This means that websites which use cookies to track a user’s web usage behavior can no longer do so, thus protecting the user’s privacy. Similarly, there is a mode that will automatically clear all cookies as and when the user’s IP changes. This means that each time the IP changes there is a fresh set of cookies that are now used, with the older cookies no longer available for anyone to compromise. Because of the IP hiding feature it also becomes possible for a user to access web-pages, blogs etc. where one’s IP was previously blocked.

Overall: The software works well as described. The interface allows for all the required functions, fairly simply, but needs improvement in terms of look-and-feel. At the moment, the graphic looks too much like “Roarshack” from the Watchmen movie and comic book. There is also a concern about whether or not usage of such software constitutes a violation of any local laws, users should keep this in mind before using this software.
