abcMonitor uses the TCP/IP protocol to ping your Servers, Workstations, Routers or any other devices that uses IP protocol on you network. abcMonitor will ping all the devices you add to your poll list and if the ping command timeouts it will wait a user specified time then try to ping the device again, if this fails abcMonitor will wait the second userspecified time and ping the device one last time before alerting you by executing a command. All events are also logged.
