A News Viewer and Automated Retriever designed specifically for binary Newsgroups. Unlike other automated loaders, Nomad News is also a full-featured Viewer! Up to 8 connections allow multiple files to be downloaded simultaneously with thumb-nail images provided for each as it loads! Using check-boxes, users can Tag 1 article, or 1000 - it doesnt matter. Click the Download Tagged button and Nomad News starts loading. Continue browsing, tag/untag articles, ban a poster, stop, pause, resume loading, whatever. With Nomad News there really is no difference between Viewing and Automated Loading - do both at the same time! Newsgroups can be tagged too! Tag 10 groups, click the Download Tagged button and each is opened, its headers retrieved, articles automatically tagged based on your criteria, and files downloaded. New version adds: Support for multiple news servers. Ability to hide articles base on assigned tag. Auto file rename option if downloaded file conflicts with an existing filename.
