Uses an explorer-like interface to bring the latest stock quote data directly to any desktop connected to the WWW. For those with DATEK accounts, real-time data isavailable, otherwise 15-minute delayed data is used in accordance with SEC rules. Configurable alerts can be programmed that inform the user when a pre-determined price or change in price has been reached. Securities may be indexed into groups for quick access, and positions may be automatically calculated from user-entered transactions. As well as maintaining prices and positions, WSX acts as an information hub for securities. Stocks may be charted over various time periods (including intra-day) and the latest news can be displayed from a variety ofnews providers. All quote data may be printed andexported in comma-delimited format (compatible withExcel and Quicken). Portfolios may be saved for archivaland exchange with other users, and multiple instancesof WSX may be invoked to handle multiple portfoliossimultaneously. Other features include automaticnotification of new versions when they become available,online registration, online help and automatic install and remove.
