     It is amazing how many people use various instant messengers and chat clients to talk with their friends night and day or just to indicate they are online. Say, you use the most popular messenger, ICQ, but some of your friends constantly let the side down by using AOL Instant Messenger or something of the kind. You can either run any number of messengers simultaneously and try to keep an eye on them all or install Trillian.
     Trillian is a chat client currently supporting IRC, AIM, ICQ, MSN Messenger, and Yahoo! Messenger. And it does its work very well, mind you. You spend some time typing in Trillian's preferences your current account information for the messengers you use and then the paradise comes. All the people in your contact list will be able to communicate with you through this immensely useful program. It is free though donations are greatly welcome. There are certain limitations - the program does not use all the features of any of the messengers it provides the gateway for, only the most basic ones.
