     Notes Pilot is a handy tool that lets you save text snippets and images of your choice from the web pages you browse. Just drag and drop an image or selected text to the icon on the IE toolbar and the tool will do everything else for you. It is an add-on for MS Internet Explorer and requires IE 5.0 or higher to run. The tool also works in MS Word, MS Outlook Express and, reportedly, other Microsoft software, though you'd have to drag things to the IE toolbar anyway if you chose to use Notes Pilot in other applications.
     The tool saves your illustrated notes in a specified folder. You can create as many different folders as you like (for example, software, shopping, wise thoughts) and easily switch from one to another while you are working with IE. It saves snippets and images neatly and efficiently.
