Mercurius is a new way to search the World Wide Web. If you have ever been daunted by the number of results returned by search engines, or found it difficult to think of which keywords to use to find something, then Mercurius is for you.

Does the following sound familiar? You enter some words into a search engine, and are confronted with thousands of results. So you repeat the search, trying a few more words, and are rewarded with hundreds of results. The first few look relevant, but now you're worried that you've excluded some interesting sites. So how do you find the right words to search the internet?

With Mercurius, we think we have found the answer. When you perform a search using Mercurius, as well as the usual search engine results you are shown lists of words and phrases found within these results. So, if you feel that the returned sites are not exactly what you wanted, you can iterate the search using any of the listed words and phrases that you think are relevant, and continue this iteration until you have found exactly what you want.
