A syncing tool for all your PC software and drivers.

Pros: RadarSync constanly monitors and checks for updates for your PC’s installed software applications and the drivers. This checking is done daily to make sure that your PC has the latest updates. The program is an Internet Explorer toolbar (add-on) and also adds a Google search as well as an internet radio receiver. It also lists useful Open Source software at all times.

Cons: The question is mainly about utility. In effect, there are a number of tools (the native Windows update, a McAfee update) that work better than this tool. There is no reason to go in for this tool because it really does not add anything to the updating process.

A noticeable defect is that there is sometimes contention with the Windows Updater. There is no way in which to turn one off and turn on the other (except turn off the Windows Update). It is not clear whether or not the program indeed updates everything required, because Windows Update seems to update more often. There is question of trusting the update feature, which most users will end up trusting Windows updater over this tool. All in all, this product is an over-kill.

Overall: 2 stars. The updating function works. But a user will notice that this is overkill because in recent versions of Windows this task (updating applications and drivers) is already being done automatically. There is no additional utility provided by this tool.
