A search engine add-on for Internet Explorer targeted to searching torrents.

Pros: This tool is exactly what its name says it is a Torrent searcher. This is an Internet Explorer add-on that adds a torrent search toolbar to your standard Internet Explorer browser window. Once you type in a search query it searches 23 of the most popular torrent websites – including Bitenova, TorrentReactor, Btjunkie, ThePirateBay, FlexTorrents, IsoHunt, torrentportal, BTscene and many more – to return the results that matched your query. It also has a built-in RSS feed reader. Additionally it adds a host of standard toolbar features such as pop-up blocker and a weather forecast. It provides real-time email received notifications and has an internet radio that works very well without any interruption whatsoever.

Cons: The search results are not consistent and it seems like this is a limitation of trying to accumulate results from all these sources. It has a lot of the standard toolbar features but these are useless if the user cannot trust the search results fully. There is also no way to search for specific kind of content – audio, video etc. (basically an advanced search). Having that functionality would have greatly added to its functionality. Most torrent users tend to be in search of media of a specific kind. Some RSS feed links etc. do not work. The RSS feed reader is also not customizable.

Overall: 3 stars. For torrent users. Works fairly well (not very well, results differ), and more functionality is desirable.
