Features: The Bricolsoft Zip 2009 R2 ActiveX is a data compression component. It will allow developers to add zip and unzip features to applications. The functionality that you can create include, beside the straight zip and unzip, multipart archive creation, ZIP64 large file support, WinZip AES encryption, self extracting archive creation and memory file compression / decompression. The integration with your application takes only a few lines of code. For effective control from inside your application the component returns a set of events. These let you know file and operation complete events. It`ll enable prompting for and taking corrective actions. If the operation needs to be aborted that can be done easily.

This component has C and C++ optimized code and is a ATL library. Optimization is done with respect to its speed performance so that large files also can be compressed or decompressed quickly. The integration interface is quite intuitive and has built in constants, enumerations and types that would work without a problem with programming environments such as C#, VB.NET, VB6, VC++, Delphi, C++ Builder etc. The components provides complete compatibility with PKZIP 2.40g and PKZIP 4,5 formats and thus with Zip and PKZIP programs.
