REMADO is an ActiveX component that has been developed as a means of retriving data from a remote data source using standard SQL queries. Although Microsoft provides RDS or SQL Server, most Internet Service Providers are either reluctant to implement these services, or its fairly expensive. Also as and when required, REMADO will construct a RecordSet on the fly containing the resulting data.
